After many months of not touching my quilting supplies/sewing machine (save for hemming a pair of pants), I finally did some quilting. Yesterday, I got out my quilt sandwich, and cleaned out my sewing machine, put in a new needle, and started stitching. I got this pattern from a magazine and altered the colors to fit my Aunt's favorite color scheme. I think I also altered the size to make it a throw size quilt. I had found a beautiful striped fabric that I wanted to use for the border and it turned out great! I haven't taken pictures yet cause I just finished the binding today and I still have to make and attach the label yet. Hopefully I'll be able to get some pics up of the quilt in the next few days.
It feels good to quilt again. :D
